Scott Kimball has invested in early-stage consumer brands since 2023. He writes pre-seed checks directly, leads priced seed rounds through CLMB-managed SPVs, and takes board and observer seats in the companies he backs.

He came to investing from twenty years as an operator, fourteen of them as a manufacturing executive. At Capstone Nutrition he served as Vice President of Human Capital and then Executive Vice President over sales, marketing, business development, administration, and human resources, through the company's growth and its sale to private equity. As Chief People Officer of Innovations in Nutrition + Wellness, the Cornell Capital–backed acquirer, he integrated six nutrition manufacturers across seven plants in the United States and the United Kingdom into one company.

That background shapes how CLMB underwrites. Scott has read hundreds of founder decks from the investor's side of the table and knows what breaks between a pitch and a production run, across capsules, tablets, powders, soft gels, bars, and liquids. He treats the psychology of a leadership team and the balance sheet as one subject. With founders, he uses Hoshin Kanri, a planning method that turns annual goals into monthly targets for every team, so strategy shows up in the numbers.

Scott also founded Scalewrights, an advisory practice for consumer founders, and is the author of The Seed File™ and The Summit™. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has led projects across Mexico, Central and South America, and Europe.
